Welcome to the Bella Baumgartel Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is being established to honor the life of Isabella “Bella” Baumgartel and to continue her legacy of kindness, generosity, and love of the Arts. Bella was a bubbly, unique, and kind young lady with a smile that could warm anyone’s heart. She had a passion for the Arts and loved singing, dancing, drawing, painting, photography, and theatre.

 

The Bella Baumgartel Memorial Scholarship will be an annual, merit-based competition, that focuses on rewarding creative, ambitious, driven, goal-oriented individuals pursuing a career in the Arts or one that focuses on serving others. (social work, counseling, teaching, any career where you are helping others.) This is a one-time award of $500.00.

 

Once applications are submitted, Bella’s parents will select one award recipient from West Elk and one recipient from Circle High in early May. Upon proof of enrollment, a check will be mailed to you.

 

The Bella Baumgartel Memorial Scholarship is funded through individual and group donations. The Committee, in making scholarships available, does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, gender, sexual orientation, handicap or national/ethnic origin.
